2023 is only four weeks away—but your preparation begins now.
Instead of setting resolutions (which often fade), we’re shifting the focus to something stronger:

Goal-setting.

Why? Because resolutions can be broken—but goals can be met.


Start With a Quiet Moment

Get Clear, Get Honest, Get Writing

Before you hit the ground running, do this first:

  • Find a quiet space

  • Take a deep breath

  • Allow yourself time to reflect

  • Journal freely—write down everything you want to accomplish

Don’t limit yourself. Let the ideas flow.
You can edit later—our coaches can help you make sense of it.


Make Your Goals S.M.A.R.T.

To set yourself up for success, every goal should meet the S.M.A.R.T. criteria:

S – Specific

The more detailed your goal, the clearer the path.
Avoid vague statements. Instead of saying “Get healthy,” try “Walk 30 minutes, 3 times a week.”

M – Measurable

If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it.
Include a way to track your progress or determine when the goal is met.

A – Attainable

Be honest about what’s possible.
Your goals should stretch you, but still be within reach given your resources and time.

R – Realistic

Don’t set yourself up for frustration.
Make sure the goal fits your current circumstances and doesn’t depend on miracles or luck.

T – Timely

A goal without a deadline is just a wish.
Give every goal a clear timeline to create urgency and momentum.
