Thinking Outside the Box Isn’t Always Enough

How many times have you been told to “think outside the box”?

It’s a common phrase meant to inspire creativity, boldness, and innovation.
But here’s the truth: sometimes thinking outside the box still keeps you too close to your limitations.

What If You Burned the Box?

No More Backup Plans

Have you ever considered burning the box entirely?

Well, I did. And let me tell you—it changed everything.
There is no more box, and I now choose to live without limits.

You see, the problem was that even while thinking outside of the box,
it was still far too easy to run back to what was familiar and safe.

The Box Was Holding Me Back

My box was the embodiment of fear, comfort, and control.
Worse—it stood in complete opposition to my faith.
So “thinking around it” wasn’t enough. It had to be destroyed.

I realized that as long as the box existed, I would always be tempted to shrink back into it.

Faith requires freedom.
Growth demands boldness.
Comfort can quietly become a cage.

Time to Burn the Box

Let Go of What’s Blocking Your Faith

I encourage you today—burn the box.

Get rid of anything in your life that feels harmless on the surface
but is silently standing in contradiction to your calling, purpose, or faith.

Ask yourself:

  • What “boxes” am I keeping just in case?

  • What am I afraid to let go of completely?

  • Am I living bold—or just near-bold?

Don’t just step out of the box.
Burn it down—and don’t look back.
